This is a very cakey soft cookie. I used two TBSP of fresh lemon juice as my lemon was huge and I was concerned the batter would be besides thin. That seemed to be the perfect amount. Information technology took my oven fifteen minutes on convection set to 350f. (325)

Absolutely "wicked skillful". Wish I could leave them alone! I about fabricated them entirely as written. I like lemon extremely lemon so I added may be 1/4 teaspoon citric acrid to the batter. I made a 5 dozen batch and was also worried near the volume of lemon juice, just since I ever make a test cookie I figured I would just adjust information technology then. Low and behold I did not demand to! I imagine that the people who said they turned out caky are the ones who added less lemon juice or more flour. Mine turned out crispy chewy. A new favorite recipe!

Very adept, just I do non sympathise the signal of the lemon and vanilla extracts...information technology's a lemon cookie and you take a wonderful lemon! (And um didn't have it anyhow). Several reviewers mentioned using ii Tbsp of lemon juice. I upped it to 1/four loving cup and took out the extracts. Don't try to skip out on chilling the dough! I didn't smash mine down only just rolled balls of dough in the carbohydrate, and they still concluded up perfect crinkle puffed upward lemon cookies. Delicious!

These are delightful. I followed the recipe exactly, double checked to see how they should be spaced on the parchment. The recipe doesn't state, but my first tray showed that they Actually spread! Made the second batch much smaller and they came out beautifully, lightly browned effectually the edges and didn't run together. I too learned not to shake off too much powdered sugar from the acme. If you similar the photograph, yous won't get that result if you shake off the powdered saccharide and just leave information technology lightly dusted. I kind of piled it on.

Love these lemon cookies! I used 2 TB of fresh squeezed lemon juice and no extracts and no food coloring. I also added 1/four c more than flour and chilled the dough overnight. I rolled the dough into ane" balls and then into the powdered sugar and did not flatten. They mostly flatten on their ain while baking and crinkled on the summit. I did sprinkle a bit of sugar on afterwards they cooled merely for looks.

I made them according to the recipe and found they were fashion too sweetness and very heavy. I left out the vanilla and used iii/iv cup of carbohydrate, used one/4 teaspoon of baking soda and added mini dark chocolate chips. I didn't utilize the icing sugar crusade I found that made them too sweet. They came out yummy!

These turned out well at the end. My lemon was big and I used too much juice. My dough was wet. I added 1/4-1/two more flour and a pinch more than baking powder and soda. I baked them right out of the refrigerator for 12 minutes. They are delicious!

These have a great lemon flavor. Mine did not have the cockle effect, powdered sugar just disappeared for the near part. Sprinkled with more than when they came out of the oven.

Good flavor! I was hoping they would be as chewy and rich equally my Chocolate Cockle recipe that I make regularly. I may take overcooked them. I will try these once more. The lemon flavor was potent!

I beloved this cookie! I simply fabricated 4 bc I didn't let the dough rest. I ate one and it was a cross between a lemon pie and the lemon bucket they used to accept at KFC! Y'all virtually def need to chill the dough for at least an hour bc it is a glutinous dough. if you lot dear lemon you lot will love this soft chewy cookie. Thank you!

Didn't really run across a difference between flattening the dough or simply leaving them as a ball and rolling them in the powder. Very good cookies though.

followed the recipe, concluded upward baking them for thirteen minutes so there was a footling crunch on the lesser. might add a bit more lemon extract next fourth dimension. Most of the powdered sugar baked in, but they are adept. Waiting for hubby to try and see what he says!

I followed the recipe exactly as written. I am not a fan of the lemon extract, which I find to exist a very artificial lemon season. Besides, I was disappointed that my cookies did not achieve crinkle condition. Many captivated the powdered saccharide completely, even though my batter was not overly moisture, nor were my lemons very big.

these cookies are chewy and flavorful! my daughter made them so I don't know how like shooting fish in a barrel or difficult she would charge per unit them, only I hope she makes then once again!

These are splendid! Only thing I would say is that if yous accept a actually big and juicy lemon, it may may your cookies spread out more. I didn't utilise food colouring/lemon extract (so they weren't as yellow) but the gustatory modality is exquisite without either.

Very good. Just thing dissimilar I did was "chill" my cookies subsequently I scooped and rolled in sugar for 2 hours. Then put in oven later heated up. I practice that a lot with cookie recipes to try to avoid too soft or sticky dough when scooping and baking.
