Adult Education staff are available for phone or in-person registration at the following times: Monday through Thursday 9 AM to 8 PM and Friday from 9 AM to 3 PM. Please have your course code handy when registering.

Jim Palmeri, who has more than 33 years of experience working in the culinary arts industry and is currently the executive chef at the Mohonk Mountain House, has been named as the instructor for the new Culinary Arts program.

This October, the Adult Career Education Center is beginning a new session of the popular Nursing Assistant course, which prepares students for entry-level positions in the ever-growing health occupations field.

Ulster BOCES means different things to different people. For graduate Alexa Cotich, the Ulster BOCES Center for Innovative Teaching & Learning at Port Ewen was a place where she could thrive emotionally and academically, while she discovered the desire to help others by pursuing a career path as a school social worker.
Students enrolled in the Ulster BOCES Cosmetology programs are providing purple manicures and purple streaks of hair in exchange for donations that will benefit a shelter in Kingston.
Ulster BOCES helped Annmarie Marchiondo launch the exciting second career she had always wanted.
Ulster BOCES Director of Adult Education Mary Jalloh and Parent Peer Trainer Carolyn Detweiler joined Ulster County Executive Michael Hein as he proclaimed November 12-18 to be Apprenticeship Week in Ulster County.
After completing a rigorous, nationally accredited Surgical Technologist program at the Ulster BOCES Adult Career Education Center, 17 graduates attended a commencement ceremony on June 21.
After 1,200 hours of rigorous classroom and clinical instruction, 27 graduates of the Ulster BOCES Adult Career Education Center's School of Practical Nursing took the Florence Nightingale Pledge, committing to fulfill the requirements of being a practical nurse.
Ulster BOCES Surgical Technology student Elisha Rickard of Wappingers Falls has been awarded a merit-based stipend to attend the Association of Surgical Technologists' annual conference in Orlando, Florida.
For the last 13 years, Ulster BOCES Career & Technical Center graduate and Adult Education Nursing instructor Louise Bigando has been fulfilling the mission of Ulster BOCES by teaching and inspiring the next generation of nurses
Pride and pomp was the theme during the Ulster BOCES High School Equivalency (HSE) graduation, held on Tuesday, October 24.
After completing a rigorous, nationally accredited Surgical Technologist program at the Ulster BOCES Adult Career Education Center, 18 graduates attended a commencement ceremony on Thursday, June 15.
The Ulster BOCES Hudson Valley Pathways Academy (P-Tech) and the Career & Technical Education Center were among several schools from across the region to participate in National Manufacturing Day on Friday, October 7.
Ulster BOCES Career & Technical Center received a $17,500 donation from the Gene Haas Foundation that will help fund manufacturing-related scholarships as well as student projects and activities.
The New York State Education Department has named Ulster BOCES as the contracting agency to oversee training and professional development to educators in upstate New York, including Long Island and the Yonkers, Syracuse, Rochester, and Buffalo school districts.
